Meditation: Whom Shall I fear? (Psalm 27:1)

“The Lord is my light and my salvation whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life of whom shall I be afraid?”

God is the only one who can judge and can say the last word therefore nothing can be above God’s word and there is not anything to fear. God is the power above all powers therefore there is not anything to fear. God is the power above all powers therefore there is not a reason to fall for an illusion. Fear is just an illusion like sin is just an illusion. Only God can give substance which makes things real. Anything else lacks substance and is ultimately a distraction.

Everything is going on in the mind. We give illusions substance and that is when we lose ourselves with in the distraction. When we focus on God and his substance only then will everything else become meaningless and our existence will be unwrapped.

Personally, I get carried away with distractions. when I get carried away with distractions that is when all the symptoms of bipolar, anxiety and any other stuff will get me down because I am chasing after an illusion. It is an illusion that I have created that does not have any substance when I do it all by myself. I go downhill and forget about God because I am too focused on this illusion that is in my mind.  I get upset and depressed because I do not have the power to pursue or the creativity to do. God keeps me alive, gives me everything I need. Without God I am not as creative, I do not have any inspiration and maybe this is crazy but honestly I would not have any reason to live. God has kept me alive for a reason and so I have to go after the thing that has kept me alive and gave me substance.

The Lord is my Light……

God dwells within all of us. God is a living breathing entity that we grow within by reading the bible, keeping our minds on him and letting God guide us.

….and my salvation

Preservation or deliverance from evil. Grows us from our evil ways. Teaches us how to become pure (God).

How is sin an illusion? I’m intrigued 🙂

Sin is something that people who are searching for meaning and purpose do to receive something false that isn’t real. Sin is something that makes life fabricated and confusing. You don’t know which direction to go. When you get caught up in sin then it leads to an identity crisis which people try to escape. Sin is something that most people think is okay but lead to non-existence, lack of, blank and grey areas and a huge void.

I was wondering how can sin be an illusion? If it is an illusion then that would render Christ’s sacrifice moot.

But now you’ve put it right – it leads to an illusion. It is not an illusion in itself, but something that leads to an illusory life.

I hope I didn’t offend you with my comments 🙂 God bless!
